Dr. Willie M. Carpenter III

A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. Carpenter holds a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.). His theological education, combined with years of ministry and teaching, has shaped his commitment to helping people understand biblical truth and apply it to everyday life. He has served in ministry for more than a decade as a preacher, teacher, and ministry leader, with a particular passion for biblical education, spiritual growth, leadership, and strengthening men and families.

Dr. Carpenter's writing extends beyond the pulpit. As an author, he writes across several areas, including Christian faith and theology, personal growth, marriage and relationships, home inspection, construction, business, and professional development. His approach combines research, lived experience, biblical principles, and practical instruction with the goal of producing books that do more than inform — they give readers knowledge they can use.

Professionally, Dr. Carpenter is the founder of APA Home Inspection & Real Estate Services, LLC and APA Home Inspection School. He is a Certified Master Inspector with more than 30 years of experience in residential construction and more than a decade of experience in the home inspection industry. Through his inspection company, he has worked with homeowners, homebuyers, real estate professionals, investors, and industry partners, providing residential and commercial inspections, new-construction inspections, environmental testing, and related property services.

His passion for education led him to establish APA Home Inspection School, where aspiring inspectors receive professional training and preparation for careers in the home inspection industry. His experience as an inspector, contractor, educator, and business owner also provides the foundation for his professional books and training materials on home inspection, construction, and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Carpenter is also involved in faith-based and educational outreach through Restored in Truth International Ministries, a nonprofit organization created to advance Christian education, publishing, charitable outreach, and educational opportunities.

Dr. Carpenter is married to Dr. Melvina L. Carpenter, and together they are committed to ministry, family, education, and service. They are the parents of five adult children and grandparents to their granddaughter, Faith.
